Welcome to Your Pixs page.     When you begin to add recommendations to Movie Pixs, you will have an opportunity to create your own Movie Pixs page.        A tab will be added to direct other friends to your page for viewing.      We hope that you will add your choices to the list.      We all have such distinct tastes, but ooooohhhhhh brother... hmmm... mebbe sister   :o)   it is sooooo    incredibly cool when you come across that one flick that you never had a clue existed...   and your sharing may just be the way.      So, why don't you consider adding now!      ... and most of all, hope you enjoy this experience.

Welcome to Your Pixs page.  As you add film recommendations, you will have the option of creating your own page of film picks.    Other friends and guests will be able to click on a tab to view your reviews right in this space, or you may add your own personal touch by designing a page of your own.   We will store that page right here at Unique You where others may have the pleasure of viewing your recommendations.  If  you have a film in mind, but don't feel you have a lot of background information to add, a quick Google might do the trick, or we would gladly add additional information for you. 

Here are some great places to get additional information on films.

  • The Internet Movie Database is always a great place to start.
  • 1-World Festival of Foreign Films is a fantastic place to rummage around if you are a serious foreign film fanatic like meself :o)
  • IFC, The Independent Film Channel is a North America based satellite television channel that showcases wonderful films by independent film-makers worldwide.
  • Similarly, Sundance is also an excellent resource.
  • Wolfe Video is the place to visit if your taste in films is of a Sapphic, homo-centric nature.
  • New Yorker Films also markets a great selection of films from all genres.
  • And finally, but in no way the least, Video Detective, which is billed as the "largest preview archive on the web!" and I agree.  It is an excellent place to track down video clips of trailers as well as all sorts of great information about your favourite films.

I once had a link to a fantastic site where you could find information on actors, directors and the like, but have misplaced it.   Have you found some great places on the Internet to track down movie information?  If so, please share them with us, and...
